Hiya All

This week we have a little gift for you

So now we have provided you with a round tuit, we thought that this weeks challenge should be  Get a round tuit.

So we want you to think about all those craft projects that you have been meaning to get a round to, choose one and do it. if you are the very odd person who always does everything as soon as they think of it, you can use a round tuit (small round pin dish) either make one, decorate or alter one. Or create a peice reflecting the reasons why you don’t get a round to it. LOL  Or as per usual you can use the title in anyway it inspires you.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with

Our sponsor this week  is  Lyn at the The Craft Emporium

A few words from Lyn

For as long as I can remember I have loved crafting and have dabbled in most crafts, but I especially love Altered art. Playing around and getting messy is a joy. For me the end result is not always as important as the journey.

So it seemed a natural step 7 years ago to open a bricks and mortar craft store. We soon found ourselves specialising in scrapbooking, stamping and altered art , so we decided the best way to reach our customers and offer them a better service was to dedicate ourselves to our online presence.

We are now the largest 7 gypsies stockist in the Uk and have over 670 7 gypsies products in stock. We also stock a wide range of other products from other manufacturers . Drop in and take a look.

Tracey here, I am so envious of the prize that Lyn has supplied.  3 Sets of 7 gypsies wax seals  BABY angels are among us,  FAMILY Home and hearth and finally LOVE  kisses 4 you. plus a pack of 4 was sticks as well. A stunning prize

So here are our examples for this week. I know we all enjoyed using all the wonderful 7 gypsies items that Lyn provided in our design packs. Including the lovely papers, rub ons, metal embellishments , 7 gypsies lables and tickets.

Our guest designer this week is Fatma , a few words from Fatma

Well what can I say about me. I have been married  to – of course- the best man ever seen. We have 2 children. I have been creating since I could think.  But for the last 5 years I have been mainly a rubber stamper. I try to go my own way, playing with different mterials, colours and so on. What else can I say? Visit my blog and there you can see me ;)

Fatma xoxo

So thats it from us for this week. Bye for now

Hello everyone

This week the challenge is called Masquerade, you can use the theme Masquerade, masks or masking techniques or as per usual us the theme whatever way it inspires you .

We did have a sponsor for this week however the design packs have gone missing so they will be our sponsor in a few weeks. So I have decided that I will donate the prize this week and

THE PRIZE IS

The winners choice of 1 full stamp sheet from Tanda Stamps . That way you will get exactly the stamps you want.

So here are the design team examples for this week

Our guest designer this week is Dawn Simpson

a few words from Dawn

I started crafting about two and a half years ago after deciding to go along to a local card making class, although I have no idea why I was drawn to cardmaking but I soon became hooked! I joined a craft forum where I learned so much and was totally inspired by all the ideas and styles out there. I then decided to start a blog in February this year and it was the best thing I ever did, a whole new world opened up and I have met such wonderful people from far and wide.

Looking back I was very creative in primary school. We had a great teacher who himself was a very accomplished artist, he encouraged me to paint and I learned so much from him, my mum to this day still has some of my old paintings!! Unfortunately I never pursued art after going on to secondary school and my artistic side remained hidden until now. My mum is very artistic and I guess that’s where I get it from. I love watercolours and experimenting with backgrounds.

I don’t like to limit myself to any style – it’s great when you start a project with an idea in mind and as the project develops you end up with something unique and totally unplanned.

I am currently on the Inspirational Team and was honoured when Julie asked me to join this year. I love blog hopping and the talent and inspiration out there is immense.

If you want to see more of Dawns work you can visit her blog Crafty Ramblings

This has been the best journey of discovery for me and I love every minute of it!!

So thats it for this week.
