Hello everyone
This week the challenge is called Masquerade, you can use the theme Masquerade, masks or masking techniques or as per usual us the theme whatever way it inspires you .
We did have a sponsor for this week however the design packs have gone missing so they will be our sponsor in a few weeks. So I have decided that I will donate the prize this week and
THE PRIZE IS
The winners choice of 1 full stamp sheet from Tanda Stamps . That way you will get exactly the stamps you want.
So here are the design team examples for this week
Our guest designer this week is Dawn Simpson
a few words from Dawn
I started crafting about two and a half years ago after deciding to go along to a local card making class, although I have no idea why I was drawn to cardmaking but I soon became hooked! I joined a craft forum where I learned so much and was totally inspired by all the ideas and styles out there. I then decided to start a blog in February this year and it was the best thing I ever did, a whole new world opened up and I have met such wonderful people from far and wide.
Looking back I was very creative in primary school. We had a great teacher who himself was a very accomplished artist, he encouraged me to paint and I learned so much from him, my mum to this day still has some of my old paintings!! Unfortunately I never pursued art after going on to secondary school and my artistic side remained hidden until now. My mum is very artistic and I guess that’s where I get it from. I love watercolours and experimenting with backgrounds.
I don’t like to limit myself to any style – it’s great when you start a project with an idea in mind and as the project develops you end up with something unique and totally unplanned.
I am currently on the Inspirational Team and was honoured when Julie asked me to join this year. I love blog hopping and the talent and inspiration out there is immense.
If you want to see more of Dawns work you can visit her blog Crafty Ramblings
This has been the best journey of discovery for me and I love every minute of it!!
So thats it for this week.
